Do I need an Audit?
A Website Audit provides companies with a detailed overview on ways they can improve their visibility in search engines, as well as ways you can develop better relationships with your visitors and customers. With the audit, you will receive a checklist of everything you can improve upon to start seeing drastic improvements in search engine results, traffic and leads. The great thing about an audit, is that it doesn’t leave you tied down. You can then use your own in-house SEO to perform these steps for you, hire me to make the changes, or feel free to find a different SEO consultant or firm to work with.

The Audit Process:
Before I begin an audit, I will require you to complete a short questionnaire so I can get a better picture your business and its goals.
I will also need access to your current Analytics package if you have one. I won’t be making changes within your analytics service unless you hire me to do so, this is just for review.
All information will be presented in an easy to read and understand format, including detailed information about how the factors discussed impact SEO. I consider part of my job as an SEO consultant to thoroughly educate and train you on the “how and why” of SEO rather than just telling you what needs to be fixed, or what you are doing well. The Whole SEO Audit is both a training manual, checklist and complete review all in one, leaving you with a deeper understanding of your website and of SEO.
All audits and reviews are customized and tailored to meet your specific business goals and objectives, and will answer any specific questions you have as well as provide a wealth of additional data.

Answers: Your site audit will include answers to any of your specific questions as well as touch on areas you feel you or your site is struggling with and offer suggestions.
Full technical audit: Includes review of title tags, coding issues, page errors, site architecture, sitemaps, crawlability issues, and more.
Visibility check : Includes a review on the visibility of your site and brand on the internet, how many pages are indexed, duplicated content issues and what keywords your site is targeted for as well as performance on your targeted keywords.
Linking Review: Review of your internal and external linking strategy. Will also review your current link profile of incoming links and an analysis of those links. Also includes suggestions for developing an ongoing link acquisition strategy.
Competitor Analysis and benchmarking: Where your competitors are in their optimization efforts and a side by side comparison.
Copywriting review: Review of sites textual content and suggestions on how to use your textual content to create a better connection with your visitors, as well as specific tips on SEO optimized copywriting techniques you can use within your site.
Content Review: Review & recommendations of a specified number of pages on the website to enhance the existing body copy to support targeted, or long-tail keywords assigned to web page.
Design and Usability Analysis: Includes an evaluation of the general design and layout, browser compatibility check and suggestions, navigation review, and page depth analysis. The premium package also contains extensive usability testing by developing key personas around the type of users visiting your site. These personas will have various target objectives to accomplish including completing a purchase, using any forms, or signing up for your newsletter. All travels through your site are documented and evaluated to highlight any issues people may have when viewing and interacting with your site.
SEO Suggestions and Roadmap: Each section of my audit will include a list of suggestions you can take going forward. These suggestions are prioritized for you, so you can easily tell what you need to concentrate on first. The end of the report will include a full roadmap of the steps you need to take and the results these steps will provide.
